Hi guys. My new gaming system is up and running flawlessly so far. Took some screen shots of the wonderful Speccy program that shows temps and specs of the system.

I'm running on a stock cooler at the moment and the room is a little warm. When I pop the A/C on here later, the cpu temps get down around 33^C. Haven't noticed it getting hot yet either. Hovers between 33 and 41 so far.

I do need to find a better cooling solution though. Not for cooling down the cpu really, but the stock HSF is very noisy. At times, it seems like a hair dryer set on high. Ugh! I can't hear my tv with that going on. Lol

For those who want the program Speccy, it's very good. It's still in beta and may read some details incorrectly. But, the temperature gauges are worth it alone. It's awesome:

Grats fast! Now that I have a job, I'm probably going to be preforming some surgery on my rig. I'm a bit held back from buying the newest of the new, but I should be able to get my rig back up to today's standards. Grats again pal.

Thanks all. It's running pretty good. I've got to reinstall Win 7 though. I did something stupid and f'ed up my Startup Menu in the registry. Lol. Now it lists all my bookmarks and program files together and tries to load them as websites. Isn't that the dumbest thing ever. haha. So much for trying to get the classic menu back. Ugh! Ah well. Don't have much installed yet anyway. Hope MS doesn't f' me over when I try to do this reinstall. You know how they can be.

Good luck on getting yourself a new rig Flash/Unsung. Lots of great prices out there right now. I wanted to wait for the 4th of July sale, but I got hungry for something new. Lol : P

Well, that didn't take long. Reinstalled windows 7 and am already loading all the stuff back on there. No problems whatsoever :) Edited Wed May 05 2010, 02:21AM
