So everyone at my work has decided that theyre gonna get laptops and play Aion at work. Im going to give it a whirl I guess so I dont have to watch everyone else at work play video games all day. I guess Aion just had some huge 1.9 patch that is suppossed to make the game what it was supposed to be on release. I just hope it doesnt suck, cause warhammer got boring mega quick. Ill be honest, Im pretty bored of bad company 2, it just didnt have the ridiculous depth and hilarious potential for stupidity that the other battlefields had. |

Don't know about Aion. I've seen nice screenshots of it, but don't know about the game play. I liked Warhammer Online, but the monthly cost was a bit much for me at the time. And then, it really did lag bad during the massive fights. The animations and gameplay was good though. Bad Company 2 could certainly be much better than it is. The few maps and the constricted play zones on those maps, along with the completely unbalanced Rush type of play, is a turn off. But, I'm hoping they're put out some more maps at no additional cost. Although, I kinda doubt that it will be free. So yeah, it isn't boring yet to me, but it's not something I feel I want to play every time I get bored doing something else...like with all the other battlefields. BC2 is an awesomely made game that is far too confined. I want some real desert combat style large maps for the real battlefield experience. Like BattleAxe back in BF42. That would be a great map for this game so long as they don't shrink the out of bounds borders. Anywa y, enjoy your mmo experience with Aion. It's something different and I'm sure you'll enjoy it for a little while. At least, it will keep you from being bored while you're learning it. heh heh. Edited Sun Jun 13 2010, 03:18PM |

I played the AION Korea Beta and was tired of it in about a week. The big issue is that it was huge on grinding when you get in the upper levels. As a Roll Playing game it is average. Warhammer was great until the cities were raided. The servers could not handle the traffic and would just crash. Of course this was a year ago once I quit. I will try Star Wars Republic when it comes out, until then it is BC2 all the way. Edited Sun Jun 13 2010, 04:16PM | ||
