I used to climb silos on the farm when I was a kid just for fun. I also fell off of many ladders. Had a concussion when I was 2 from a 10 foot drop. I don't know if I could handle climbing that high; I was getting vertigo just watching it.

There ain't no freakin' way I would ever willing climb that height. It doesn't matter if my life were threatened, my loved ones lives threatened. or anything. No amount of money. I got sick just watching the video. haha. Why the heck do they need to get that high anyway? To change a lightbulb? That's f'ed up. I bet they make a full years salary in just one climb. lol.

I had to do that on the offshore rig I worked on...I had to lube up the legs so the jack up platform could climb up or down...but the bucket is heavy and the lube is metal based and super thick and needs a steel brush to apply, mostly had to slap it on to get it to stay on the gear teeth.

lots of innuendos there.

Yeah, I agree with Mac. I don't care how much money that job pays. I guess a parachute would make me a little more comfortable, but still....
