I came home last night after work and went into Origin and low and behold the Titan Fall Beta Placard was in {My Games}. I downloaded it, played it and recorded a couple in game battles playing Attrition Mode and Hardpoint Domination. I posted links to two of the videos below. Click the first link below to view Attrition Mode and the second link is HardPoint Domination Mode. [-link-] [-link-] Make sure you set the YouTube playback settings to HD 720p. The actual video before conversion and re-conversion by YouTube was excellent quality. So although it looks grainy and there is some frame loss this is in no way representative of the Pre-Conversion. Your simply seeing a compressed end product. This game looks and plays awesome!!!!! So far I think this game ROCKS! However the maps are a little small in terms of area but there are so many places that you can get just as a foot soldier. You only have access to 3 maps out of the three available modes. However, I understand that the final product is going to have between 12-16 maps. The 6 vs 6 mode does not feel like it with all the AI players, still I would rather have the ability to have more team mates in one game and on one side. I think they could of maxed out the Titans at 6 and allowed 6 more ground troops that are not AI in support of the Titans for a total of 12 Human Players per a side. Despite all the great stuff that I have stated I am personally going to wait a few days to a week after final release to see how the Full Release plays for others. I thought the BF4 Beta worked pretty decently and then the Full version released and well you all know the rest of the story. All in all, I think most of you will like this game. Its fast paced and it actually has a very low ceiling in terms of getting used to the controls. If you can get into the Beta before it goes bye bye tomorrow, DO IT! Edited Tue Feb 18 2014, 03:15PM |
