For those of you who need a great game (and video) recording software, I've been using the free version of Bandicam for the past week and I think it is great. It shows FPS just like Fraps, but it has way more features than that software for recording vids. The unregistered version allows you to record at maximum a 10min video at a time which is fine for most of us. [-link-] |

Based on the reviews and other information regarding this program. This is a great alternative to other programs on the market. The nice thing about it is the file size. I have been recording with Nvidia Shadowplay, and I like the program a lot however I am still having to render it within Vegas Video because the YouTube uploader and conversion utility does not recognize the file type which is weird considering that it is MP4. I own Mirrilis Action and I really liked the quality it provided but it was having issues with BF4 so I quit using it. I suppose now is as good of a time as any to try it with DayZ so I will post my experience with the software in the coming days. What I would like to do is compile a bunch of video from everyone that partakes in a mission to take out other individuals in DayZ so we have a complete spectrum of views and reactions from that particular situations. To do this I would need to find a file sharing program that can link up to each others PC to send files. Any Suggestions?? I have heard that this can be done with X Fire. I only used it a couple of times and thought it was ok, but never for file transfers. Feedback would be welcome. If necessary we might want to find out about uploading to a protected site that only we can access. |

We can talk to Wiz. I think we might be able to upload to the server. You can also use xfire to send files. I thought TS3 was supposed to be able to do this also.

I see the option in Ts "Tools>File Transfers" but have never had any reason to try it. Perhaps, that will be what you need. Hmm.
