Hey Peeps,
Although I dropped in using my phone last night and tonight I had to wait to charge up a brand new headset I purchased earlier in the day because my tried and true CoolerMaster Sirus Headset finally took a SHIT. Actually, one of the ears pieces fell off after the Gorilla Tape gave out. Honestly, that headset was the best 5.1 Analog/Digital headset I have ever owned so it was a shame to retire it. I purchased the Corsair 2100 Wireless 7.1 which as of this moment I have not tried out and honestly I am not a BIG Wireless Headset Fan but Fry's apparently does not care about its gaming community here in Austin because ALL THEY HAD WAS SHIT in their inventory except for this Corsair 2100 which received as 9 from Maximum PC which is a pub I respect so I will give my honest feedback as to how I think it works in case some of you are looking for an alternative down the line.

If some of you are looking for a COMFORTABLE HEADSET with great features and Digital/Analog Capabilities, I still highly recommend the CM Sirus which can be purchased online. See the link here. ---> [-link-] I could not wait for an online delivery so I had to go to Frys and after hearing nothing but complaints on the Razer Kraken Headset I opted for Corsair Wireless. The vote is still out for me but I will give some feedback soon. I can already tell you that they are nowhere as comfortable as my CM Sirus's but that's all I have to offer for now.

I hope you all have a great weekend, I will be on the road this weekend doing Uber, so far its been SUPER Lucrative so I have to keep up the tempo for the next couple weekends to make a dent in life's roadblocks.

Cya soon

So here is my initial feedback on this Corsair H2100 wireless headset I recently purchased to replace my CM - CoolerMaster Siris 5.1 Headset. I am impressed! I say this lightly because as far as total comfort, and I am talking about the ear cushions and head top cushioning they are not as comfortable as the CM Sirus, but..... the clarity and overall sound quality for several games has been exceptional. It took me a few rounds to figure out how to get the headset to work with TS but that has been the only issue I truly encompassed in getting them to work the way I would have liked. Once I got that figured out the performance has been exceptional!!! In playing BF4, and DayZ, I am hearing things at different angles that I did not hear before. Granted these are 7.1 True Surround, compared to my Siris 5.1 Analog, and of course compressed 5.1 using USB but there is a real difference in how the positional audio sounds. The other thing I have been able to notice is how clear the Team Speak coms are. Its a complete difference from the way it sounded before, during game play. The cost of 100.00 is reasonable for a wireless headset and I would have to recommend this headset for those of you who want freedom of movement without limitations.

I am currently working with Corsair on some issues that I am experiencing with this headset in terms of sound cutting out and some garbled transmissions within TS. I am still a big fan of the Audio Quality but what I am experiencing currently I cannot determine if it is software or hardware which is what I am trying to workout with their tech support so for the time being the vote of confidence is still out on the H2100's. Of course depending on the overall support I receive that should be an indication as well and I will surely pass that on once and only if something comes of this trouble ticket. So for now I will wait to put a final result in terms of overall value and quality along with any issues experienced along with a resolution if any came of them. More to come!

I'm going to go out on a wire (pun intended) and say that there are too many wireless devices in the vicinity of your wireless headset and the terminal.

Addi tionally, according to Turtle Beach, another manufacturer of wireless headsets, if you've a wireless router that is not dual band, it will greatly interfere with your headset.
