Hey Peeps, First off hello to everyone, sorry I have not been online lately. Between work and computer issues I haven't had the time nor the patience to get my rig back online. A couple weeks ago we had a severe thunderstorm pass through late at night. I left the system on and when I tried to get back online the system wouldn't post. So the process of elimination began. When it was all said and done it turned out to be the motherboard, GO Figure. Thankfully I was able to find another Sabertooth X58 online but had to wait until I had the extra funds to get it. That issue turned into a debacle as well because I couldn't get the damn thing to post properly at first because it needed the proper flash to the bios and since I wasn't willing to do a complete re-install it would not properly detect my SSD especially at the 6gb throughput. Obviously the driver was installed and latest Samsung Magician was already on the drive so there should not have been an issue, but this particular board has been notorious for SSD issues until that last Samsung driver was released. Anyways, I finally got it resolved. In a way the break from the computer was kinda good. I tore through three books during that time, the best one I read thus far was Lone Survivor, and I followed that with Marcus Latrell's other book Service: A Navy Seal at War. I highly recommend both books if your into reading stuff about Spec Ops. I am currently reading "JFK and the Unspeakable: Why He Died and Why it Matters" If you get a chance go and read the reviews about this book on Amazon. It was released back in 2007 or 2008, and just based on the first ten reviews which I read before purchasing, some of which are pretty long, the writer put a lot of time into this work. I have only just begun the book but many of the reviewers made it point to emphasize the importance of not skipping a thing, as in read it from cover to cover,because the story and supporting information to build his case begins with the first three chapters. I havea rambled enough, as you can probably tell I haven't been online much except on my phone and tablet, which by the way was having issues after the last iOS update. I couldn't get TS to work properly. Go figure. Hopefully the latest update which just came out a couple days ago will resolve that but I am not holding my breath as it apparently only pertains to purchased ringtones being deleted by previous updates. Ok, I'll shut up now. Cya online later tonight after work. |
