Virus scans:
Avast
AVG
Micr osoft Security Essentials Win7
bitdefende r Win8

Ad Removers:

Roboscan is free and uses the Bit Defender anit-virus database and updates. I use it on my pop's pc and other friends pc's who cannot afford pay av's like norton.
I do not typically go to malicious websites with my gaming rig, so I only use MS Essentials on it.

I keep Spywareblaster and Spybot updated for the malwares and whatnot. I've used them both for over a decade.
