Gentlemen and ladies, the decision is finally upon us.

Who among us is going to step up and play APB {CLICK HERE TO LEARN MORE}?

It's basically Grand Theft Auto 4, but as a MMORPG. You choose whether to play for the cops or the criminals, then you go on missions in groups. It's supposedly set up to accomodate clan play, and balances experienced and less experienced players together in the missions.

The game is free to play. You can also customize your clothes, your weapons and your cars and i heard a rumor that you could upload your own textures to your clothes, so if I wanted a photo of my anus on my jacket, I could have it. That is unconfirmed, luckily.

After AntiLogic and I read some reviews, it seems you do the same three or four basic mission styles, with some minor variation, in groups of your friends. In that respect it is very much like Global Agenda.

However, the 60-person servers will give it the same open free-for-all sandbox feeling that makes Grand Theft Auto 4 so much fun.

If we can get seven people here to commit to play it, i say let's do it. I'm in, but I'm not jumping into this pool alone.

At least not until I've pee'd in it first. I know Mooch was excited about this too. Can we say 3 so far are interested?

What say you!

I've been reading some stuff on it and apparently it's had a lot of improvements since beta. I know that should be a given, but I made the mistake of buying Star Trek with that thought in mind and it was just as bad as the beta. I've seen a few reviews and so far mostly positive things. I think I'll wait a few more days and watch a few more reviews before I do anything.

Air, are you 100% certain that it's free? I thought it was $10 a month, but I could be mistaken.

Here 's one that I thought was pretty well made:

If it's ten bucks a month, I'm out. I'm not going to pay to play a game I've already paid for. Consider my enthusiasm waned.

From their forums:

"How much does it cost?"

" Nothing, after much confusion we can confirm there will be no monthly charge to play this game."

Whooo hooo!

Enthusiasm rekindled!

And it's made by EA. I wonder if it will be anything like BF Heroes. I did read that their voice client will feature ads. But since we have Teamspeak that won't effect us. I'll d/l it and give it a go.

From the Steam store

Once your game time is up, you have flexibility to top up your action game time from as little as $6.99 (£5.59, €6.29) for an additional 20 hours, while more frequent players can switch to a 30-day unlimited package for only $9.99 (£7.99, €8.99) with discounts available for 90 and 180 days.

What's that all about?
